1st Location - ASM RACES - Ta' Qali
Races are organised by the ASM (Motor Sport Association) which are being held in Ta' Qali. One can see photos of the drivers & their quads together with their race results under 'Events & Photos' subsection 'Race Results'. These races take place on a Sunday. One can also check under 'Future Events' what is the date of the next event.
If you are interested in participating and be part of this club, please contact the association for guidance of what needs to be done.
Looking forward to increase our racers.

Rules:
First timers can try the track on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays - all day and Saturday mornings till noon. These are the training days. They can also take the feel of a race on Sunday with the other racers. The most important rule is that one will always drive/race in a clockwise direction.
For first timers, the basic safety equipment is necessary, i.e. a helmet. Moreover a number must be clearly shown at the back and front of the quad. Please contact the association to inform you which numbers are available.
However, a full gear with all the protective equipment will be necessary.
Races will be divided as follows: those above 250cc and those below 250cc.
Normally Sunday races will be as follows: autocross, motocross, bangers, demolishion and then the quads. These will be repeated for 3 times. Prepare a day at Ta Qali on Sunday. One can get his wife & kids. There is also a take-away where one can find burgers, hot-dogs, chips, drinks, etc.
Entrance fee for viewers is only EUR3. For those who are not registered with the ASM and want to race it's EUR20. However this is not advisable since it's better to be a member. A full year membership will cost EUR35 and the entrance fee for each race will be EUR12.
Sometimes enduro races will be organised. These are races against time. One will be alone in the track followed by another one after 1minute. It's not against one another but against time.
Please contact the M.Q.B.A. for further guidance and contacts.
Points:
Points are now given as follows to the first 6 positions:
1st - 10 pts 2nd - 7 pts 3rd - 6 pts 4th - 5 pts 5th - 4 pts 6th - 3 pts
There will be 3 heats and a final race. An average is taken after the 3 heats are done to determine which six drivers are going to race in the final. For points purposes only the final race counts. Each heat will have 4-6 drivers and is divided into 2 groups according to ballots.
